Suspicious behavior: Sarcastic “favorite teacher” comment; seems obsessed with smells; all around general rudeness.

- LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER, MS. TOVEY

Suspicious behavior: Possible irrational anger at Mr. Ferrari, reason undetermined.

“And that’s it,” Nadia said, slamming the notebook shut. Titi jumped. She stood up. “Titi, you be careful. We’ll start our investigation tomorrow.”

Titi nodded and turned to go. Adam and Nadia watched him walk away, his shoulders sagging.

“Roop guy,” said Adam.

“He didn’t say ‘blustering beetles’ even once,” Nadia said with a sigh. She hoped they found Khefren soon, if only so Titi could start being Titi again.
